It's a bird! It's a plane! No! It's a hot air balloon!!!

Was teaching hubby driving this evening around our neighbourhood when i noticed a hot air balloon right in front of us floating in the sky.

Me: "Aiyer.. dunhaf camera with me AGAIN. (just last week, a deer crossed the road right in front of our car but i din bring my camera)

Dear: "the hot air balloon doesnt seem to be moving very fast. should still have time to go get the camera"

Me: "Really?! Quick! drive me home! i go get my camera!'

And there! I managed to rush home, shouted to Jingying & Derrick (our housemates) "there's a hot air balloon outside!" as i ran to my room, grabbed my camera, ran to the patio and *snap*snap* Just in time to catch the hot air balloon flying across the apartment opposite our house and spotted another one which was flying much further in the woods. hehee!

I've never been on top of a hot air balloon. Neither had hubby. (yeh.. not even the DHL 1 in Sg. Even if we had, i wonder if it counts since it's not exactly "moving'') Hmmm.. maybe we should include that as part of my summer checklist. It's pretty costly though. I checked online. US$180-$210+ per pax for just approx 1 hr of flight time....
