Weekend trip

Yesterday, friends and us drove 2.5hrs to a placed called Leavenworth for some sightseeing. The town was remodelled in the form of a Bavarian village to attract tourists. So, we really felt like we were in some small European town. hehee

I heard during Christmas, this place is magical. Just like a white Christmas in the European countries. May drive down to have a look then, if we're in the mood for the long drive.

The buildings are pretty interesting and the shops were selling stuff like nutcrackers figures, Russian dolls, cuckoo clocks, wooden scupltures and boxes etc. Not the typical stuff we see in everyday gift shops. But after walking through the shops, quite a lot of stuff are repetitive. That's normal for tourist attractions.

Nevertheless, it was still an eye-opening trip and the weather was certainly cooperative! :)
