"When in Rome, do as the Romans do"

And so 7 Singaporeans, 3 Malaysians & 1 Australian celebrated Thanksgiving together, by having a traditional feast of Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoe casserole, cranberry sauce, baked potatoes, pecan pie and gelatin salad.

After which, it's back to our own "cultural activities". keke! Some of us played WOW, some of us played mahjong, some of us browsed through the newspapers & pamphlets to get ourselves prepared for the "Black Friday Battle" on the next day!

You might have heard of "Black Friday" before. It's not Friday the 13th or anything like that. It's actually the day after Thanksgiving and the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season! Meaning: Sale! Sale! Sale! Shop! Shop! Shop!

Although, if you really want to get the best deal, you'll have to go queue up for hours before the shops open and most of them actually open as early as 5am!!! S0, that's how we got our HDTV at a great price last year! Junyong went to queue overnight with a few friends in the extremely cold weather...... Think zero degree celsius and below... :x

This year, we werent so adventurous. But we did wake up at 6am to go shopping for good deals. Considering we actually slept at around 2am+, it's a pretty big achievement liaoz. :p
