Too Wet Too Dangerous

We went skiing for the 2nd time yesterday and it was great coz it kept on snowing so we had 'fresh powder' to ski on. But kinda irritating that the snow kept on falling on us and made us wet & cold...

There were too many people at the ski resort too. So it kinda felt like 40% of the time was spent on skiing and the other 60% was waiting to get on the lifts and the 'magic carpet'. (the conveyor belt that brings skiers upslope over a short distance)

We reached the place around 9am and left around 4.15pm. Our car was covered in snow and while clearing the snow, Jingying decided to start a snow fight!! Junyong and Derrick joined power against her.... I was too tired to form girl power so I didnt join in. Sorry Jingying! :p

And then it happened. Dear couldnt find his car keys! He must have dropped it during the snow fight.... we franctically searched around the car and luckily Jingying found it underneath some snow next to her feet. Phew!

Just as we thought we could finally make our way back to home sweet home. The traffic was horrendous! We were stuck at the resort exit for 45mins before we could even get on the highway. When we eventually got on the ramp to the highway, we understood why there was a jam. Becoz the roads were really slippery, the cars had to move on slowly and carefully since most of them didnt have the snow chains. Meanwhile, there were also several cars that had skidded and got stucked in the middle of the road.

People got off their cars to help push and Jingying & Derrick also went to help.. it was really scary coz we could see some cars skidding left and right... We were sort of 'lucky' coz even though we didnt have the snow chains on our tires, we had 4 persons in the car, and that perhaps helped in weighing the car down for control.

The only thing that was on my mind all these while, was that pls dont get stuck in the snow... I need to pee. I held my bladder for like 2hrs before we found an exit that wasnt too ulu, have had cars which exited so the snow hasnt accumulated too high and there were petrol stations for us to pump petrol. Most importantly, for me to use the bathroom.

That was it. We safely made our way home thereafter the too-wet-too-dangerous adventure of driving under heavy snow conditions and 2hrs-of-bladder-holding.
