Wonderful New Year's Eve

Dear was so thoughful to bring me to see lightings at the Bellevue Botanical Garden and the drum performance by toy soldiers outside Bellevue Square on the evening of our Wedding Anniversary. It was also the last day for both events and there were many other people who were there too despite the freezing weather.

Garden d'Lights was really nice! All the flowers, shrubs, animals etc were created by bundling strings of mini light-bulbs (similar to those used to light up a christmas tree) and looked really awesome! My photos do not do them justice. :/

The drum & music performance outside Bellevue Square was really great too! Everyone was given paper trumpets to join in the fun & dance along. Spontaneous and fun! Really got dear & I into the New Year mood. :)

Our hands were numb by the time we got into the car. Forgotten to bring our gloves along. :p

Afterwhich, we went for the burgers, beer and grilled food dinner gathering at Ricky & Sheue Lei's place. Delicious and filling! I also made Yakitori and I'm glad it was tasty & loved by all.

We forgot to do a count down coz we were all too engrosssed in watching the rented dvd movie "Superbad". A silly comedy with lots of obscenities. By the time we realised, it was already 12.01am. haha! :p

Ricky and Sheue Lei were so thoughful to get champage ready and we toasted to a wonderful New Year 2008 ahead! :)

Happy New Year to Everyone!!! May all your New Year resolutions come true!

P.S: Apologies. My camera battery died on me when dear and I were at Bellevue Square so no pics of everyone & the yummy-licious food at the dinner gathering. :x
