Busy weekend

Super tired right now... it's been a busy weekend.

Been running around buying stuff to fill up our house. Went to update our registered address in the morning, then did some shopping at Ikea and Walmart on Sat. Luckily, a friend volunteered to cook dinner at her place, so we could sit back and enjoy a sumptuous home-cooked dinner. :)

Went on to catch movie "The Incredible Hulk". It's a great show! Definitely recommend so do catch it if you can. :)

Today (Sunday), we had to return to our old rental apartment to clean up. Spent like 4 hours, scrubbing, wiping, vacuuming and tidying up the place. After that we rewarded ourselves with a delicious meal at a Taiwanese restaurant which we found out, also serves *drum rolls* ICE KACHANG!

Hah! It's actually called 刨冰 on the menu and it doesnt have the coloured syrup that we have in Singapore. But we could choose the toppings that we like. So, we chose red bean, grass jelly and palm seed (which was written as coconut something on the menu that I thought it's nata de coco). Lucky by mistake, we actually got attap chee! I love attap chee!

Because Singapore's version of ice kachang only has only 1 or 2 attap chees only. So when my elder sis and I were young and sharing a bowl of ice kachang, we would always try to eat quickly and kinda compete to see who's the lucky person to get the attap chee! :D
